About Cape Home Builder

Cape Home Builder (CHB) is a residential construction company based in Cape Town, specialising in new homes, extensions, and renovations. We work with homeowners to deliver practical, well-built spaces that integrate seamlessly with existing structures or bring new residential projects to life from approved plans. Our focus is on clear communication, careful planning, and reliable construction throughout every stage of the build.


We approach each project with a strong emphasis on buildability, accurate costing, and efficient project management. From initial site preparation through to final completion, our work is carried out in accordance with NHBRC requirements and relevant SANS 10400 building regulations, ensuring compliance, structural integrity, and lasting quality.

From Vision to Build

1. Obtain Approved Building Plans

Start by ensuring your architectural drawings are approved by the local municipality. Approved plans allow construction to begin and ensure the design complies with building regulations.  

2.Contact CHB for a Consultation

Share your approved plans with us so we can review the design, discuss the project scope, and provide a detailed quotation for the build. 

3. Review Your Quotation

We prepare a clear, itemised quotation outlining the scope of work, pricing, and construction approach so you know exactly what to expect. 

4. Confirm the Project & Sign the Contract

Once you are comfortable with the proposal, we finalise the building agreement and establish a construction timeline. 

5. Construction Begins

Our team establishes the site and begins construction in accordance with the approved plans and building regulations, with regular progress updates throughout the build. 

6. Project Completion & Handover

Once construction is complete and all final checks are done, your new home is ready for handover and occupation.
